In her final year of primary school, Wuzy Scott knew that she loved drawing pictures and writing stories. So... she sneaked into the computer room at her little school, tucked away in the Malvern Hills, and spent her lunch breaks writing her first ‘collection of short stories’. A teacher stumbled upon it and to everyone’s surprise, Wuzy was awarded the Father Cooke Memorial Cup for her outstanding achievement. The cup was bigger than her! Her mum still proudly cares for that first book - the only other copy was destroyed in a school fire (but that’s another story!)

Wuzy went on to study art and design, becoming a graphic designer and enthusiastic story teller for her daughter, Madi, who also loved to let her imagination run away with her. Keeping the whole family amused, their two beloved cats, Pippin & Squiz, turn every day into an adventure and inspired this series of colourful, rhyming story books.
